Our Story - Creative Helsinki
We are marketing company, specialised in High Tech. We do B2B- and B2C marketing strategy & execution.
Creative Helsinki was founded in April 2011 by then 21-year-old Emmi Laine, who first opened a company for being able to charge from her work as an event coordinator. Ms. Laine worked for multiple companies as a freelancer. The company first carried name Emmi Laine, which was then changed to Wearemmilaine - WEAREL, before getting its current form in 2015, Creative Helsinki.
Laine had then already worked as an Brand Ambassador since 2004. She was more and more asked offers of marketing entities, staff, social media- and event marketing. In August 2011 she hired her first employees. The growth was rapid and speed fast when Laine balanced in between her executive- and human resources management roles.
Throughout the years Laine was asked to sell her company, partner with individuals or corporations. She was not interested in any of the opportunities.
In 2014, Laine wanted to accomplish her long-time dream of an own second-hand shop. She slowly guided the remarkable amount of her clients to her colleagues and kept the dearest ones (Including Jolla Ltd. within 6 years of collaboration). In between 2014-2016 she focused on the carefully selected projects with Creative Helsinki.
Today, Laine is a Marketing director for a start-up in information technology. She still 'has' her core team from Creative Helsinki, which she collaborates with by planning and implementing carefully selected projects. Creative Helsinki is still alive and the focus is on a High Tech.
